Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"I did a carryout order. I walk with a cane and when an employee, a very gracious lady saw me she met me at the door. She greeted me with a great smile. The cashier did the same. The place was very clean and beautifully decorated. The food was excellent. I ordered 1/2 chicken (small but filling). It was seasoned well and a little spicy. When I left, the cashier offered to take my bag to the car but customers came in. Without any hesitation, a gentleman took the bag to the car. The sweet lady from the beginning brought me a cup of water. This was my first time there and the experience was great!! 5 star experience !!"
"Service was great and food had amazing flavor..need to come back and try more"
"They had really good food, my dad got steak and he said it was soft and tender, he loved it. The agua de Jamaica was so good. The employees were very polite and attentive and not to mention, very welcoming! Only thing I have to say is that the music was a little too loud"
"This has become one of my favorite places to eat. The first time I went there we ordered Biria Tacos and Biria Ramen. It ended up coming out to about $38. However the Ramen can EASILY feed two ppl. It’s packed with flavor and the veggies are fresh on the side. For the amount and quality, $15 is more than fair. The ladies who helped me were friendly and it was one of the more enjoyable experiences I’ve had at a restaurant. Thank you all and I will be back. I’m adding pics. The bowl I have it in doesn’t show the depth but trust me it is a big bowl lol."
"I went to the Durham location because my husband works down the street. I got a chicken burrito and a big container of beans. I just wanted to say the staff at the window was super nice and patient with us because we didn't know what we wanted to order. And the food was AMAZING! I wish we had ordered more. We only bought one to try and it was very filling. I split the burrito with my daughter and didn't share it with my husband ooops cause he was still at work until 5 . the beans are frijoles charros. The seasoning tasted like real Mexican not white washed like other places. We don't have much money but definitely will be back. also it came with sauces and onions and veggies on the side that were hot spiced but omg so good. We ate every bite"
"Customer service was amazing the waitress was so attentive and nice. The atmosphere is awesome too. I had the birria tacos and it was amazing I especially loved the rice my uncle had the carne asada and it was seasoned extremely well it was delicious! Definitely recommend and I will be coming bac."
"We were politely greeted when we arrived. The flavor and freshness of the food was great. The food was not excessive in condiments, the quantities and prices compare to other Mexican restaurants in the area. The loud narco-corridos music in the back ground was too loud and not pleasant. If you claim to be a Latino restaurant please play a variety of music for many Latin countries. Suggested tipping starts at 18% for counter service, just building a book of business. The food arrived at the table 20 minutes after we ordered, not exactly fast service. Wishing the restaurant most success !!"
"Immediately fell in love with this place. The menu is incredible, the servers know everything about the menu. They decor is exquisite. The food was great. I would definitely come here again and again."
